Suggest Treatment For Dull Headache Radiating Between Temple, Ear And Neck

Headache
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your medical question
I am sorry to hear that you are having headaches for the past week. The headache you describe maybe related to sinusitis. You have been taking medication amoxicillin and nasonex to reduce the infection but it does not seem to be helping.
From your description I would say you are having more problems with muscle contraction headaches on the left side. Since the area affected is so large your temple and neck it is most likely the muscles in these areas that are being tight and painful. If you have a history of anxiety and possible grinding of your teeth at night this would contribute to the headache.
For the headache I usually recommend my patients to take ibuprofen or Tylenol
If they have available an anti-spasm medication like flexeril or robaxin.
Use moist head on the areas giving you pain may also help
If none of these recommendations help them I recommend you seek medical attention. Your doctor may have other medications available to help reduce your muscular tension headache. I have used fioricet or fiorinal to help with tension headaches
Hope this answers your question. Please contact us again for your medical questions and concerns
