Question: Urology - I am having a dull pain around my testicle area and my semon just started having a darker color to it somewhat similar to mucus when you have a cold....
What's up with this?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query. Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have dull aching pain in testicles and dark coloured semen .

This is likely to be due to mild infection of testicles. However this can be confirmed only on clinical examination and ultrasound scanning of the scrotum.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Routine Urine test and urine culture
2) Semen analysis and semen culture
3) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for 2 weeks.

Further treatment will be decided by him and depends upon results of these tests and final diagnosis.
