Suggest Treatment For Dull Skin And Recurrent Pimples

Consult Dermatologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Miss XXXX,
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
Do you have regular menstrual cycles? Have you been diagnosed with Polycystic ovarian disease? Do you have excess facial hair?
Acne occurs because skin oil along with old skin cells blocks the pores of the skin.
I have seen your picture. Some of your acne are inflamed.
Have you used any treatment before?
I suggest you consult dermatologist. A retinoid cream along with a course of antibiotics should reduce the acne in your case.
If you have frequent increase in the severity of acne it is better for you to discuss with dermatologist and start using oral contraceptives like Yaz, Orthotricyclin or estrostep. In addition dermatologist may also prescribe Spironolactone. The effect of these medicines will be seen after using for 3-4 months.
In my opinion, you do not need other forms of treatment reserved for severe acne.
In addition you need to follow certain precautions:
- Wash your face at least 3-4 times in a day and definitely before sleeping.
-Avoid going in the sun unnecessarily. If going out use sunscreen cream with SPF 30 and above.
-Limit the use of foundation and makeup. Wash your face as soon as you return home to remove the makeup.
-Wash your hair frequently if it is oily.
Avoid/reduce oily and fatty foods like fried snacks, chocolate etc
-Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Exercise regularly to remove toxins from the body. Take shower immediately after exercise.
As acne clear, your face will look even better ( As it is you are beautiful).
I hope this helps.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I have already mentioned above the medicines. But it is important that you take them under supervision of dermatologist. They can detect immediately if you have sensitivity to medicines or interactions.
You can try using Benzyol peroxide ( Benzagel) or Differin cream.
Differin cream should not be used if you are planning for pregnancy.
In addition to the cream you can use contraceptive pills mentioned above.
It is best to take treatment under dermatologist supervision for optimum results.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
