Hello,

Oral contraceptive pills do not affect normal conception and will not cause infertility.

Once you stop taking oral contraceptive pills, your periods return to normal and you can conceive normally. If you fail to conceive, you can consult an infertility specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
