"Diet + Sunprotection + Medications"
Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,
Welcome again to the forum and thanks for sending the pictures.
First of all my best wishes for your marriage ahead.
I can make out you are smart young man and very little blemishes with quite good skin. You need slight improvisation of certain things to get good glow on skin. Though we have quite short of time to get good results but I am quite hopeful that by certain suggestions we can make appreciable changes.
In my patients with your kind of situation I guide them for a holistic approach of :
"Diet + Sunprotection + Medications"
- In diet you should have best of vitamin C and vitamin A containing fruits along with lot of liquids everyday. Vitamin A in diet helps to give you sun-protection internally while vitamin C in diet helps in reducing the activity of melanocytes (color producing cells).
- A sun protection is must for you at this time. For sun-protection you can use any good sunscreen regularly according to your skin type. Apply it every 3 hourly if you stay out side other wise two times is enough if you are staying in office. Use a hat or cover your face during outdoor visits.
- For medications If I were your treating dermatologist then would have prescribed combination approach with a cream (under dermatological supervision) containing Kojic acid with arbutin and mulberry extract( sucha s Melaglow cream) in it at over the face. This is one of the best and safest creams to be applied. I suggest my patients to apply any of these creams in a very thin layer at night time only so that these should not be visible to naked eye. Apply at night time before sleeping.
A rule of thumb is that a pea size amount is sufficient for a palm size area so do apply the cream very thinly and lightly. Apply a moisturizer additionally in day time as there is tendency of dryness in winters. You should remember that reduction of pigmentation is gradual process so have patience !!!
An antioxidant tablet or capsule ( Such as Antoxid HC) daily can be taken after meals.
Additionally I suggest you to stop any substance abuse such as alcohol or smoking. Do not wake late till night. I have seen that sun protection with good diet not only helps in glowing the skin.
I hope this information will help you. I will be glad to reply any further queries.
"Wish you good glowing skin"
