Suggest Treatment For Dysesthesia Caused After A Cosmetic Surgery
Thank you for your help.
No procedures...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Minor nerve disturbances following surgical procedures resolve over 4-6 months. However a few are permanent and irreversible. Any interventional procedures fail to resolve a chronically damaged nerve.
I definitely do not understand how much you are suffering; but having been through a similar event following a limb surgery, I understand dysesthesia can be discomforting if not painful. Based on the symptoms, it should be managed with medicines that alter threshold potentials of nerves and rehabilitation techniques. If the botched procedure was less than 6 months ago, you can give a try with vitamin b12 supplements.
I apologies if you did not find my suggestions helpful; but medical science is yet to figure out a treatment that can reverse a damaged nerve.
Let me know if you need clarifications.
