Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain And Cold

Question: I am just now getting over a cold that has lingered since Monday of this week. Indeed, after feeling around in my ear lobe this morning, a few hours later my ear has been hurting. The pain has radiated from mild to below mild. AS of now the pain is slightly tolerable. I have tried Hyland's Earache Drops and this seem to had worked for a moment but after about an hour, the pain came back.

What should I do?

I am so sorry to hear about this ear pain. This is probably caused by the same virus that was responsible for the cold. Treatment would require adequate pain control. For now, antibiotics are not necessary. To get good pain control, take Tylenol 1 gram every 6hours for at least 3days. This would help prevent pain from coming back especially when the effect of the drug expires. Keep me updated with progress.
