Suggest Treatment For Eczema

Question: Hi I have an ongoing issue with my left foot only... It starter out about 10 years ago as a little blister type under my foot which I thought was from treading on a spikes type weed on the lawn.. I had been wearing work boots for a whole after that and damaged the nail bed on my pinky toe, but over time the nail stopped growing forward and only gets thicker now, and about a year or so my middle toe has progressively started to go a funny sort of texture now I have tried the rejuvenail product but it didn't seem to go away. And over the years my foot has had the tiny little blisters that inch and of course they get scratched and pop open, only clear liquid inside, I was told once by a chemist that it was a type of eczema but I have tried many a topical cream like hydrozole and other fungal cream even creams for eczema though it still getting worse. The skin gets very dry and peels and on occasions the webbing between my toe or toes split.. I have seen a pediatrist and no help there.. What can you suggest ??
Brief Answer:
Get your investigations done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
You should get your xray of foot in AP and oblique view done and send me the report.
I want to see the present condition of small bones of your foot to rule out any deep infection or osteomyelitis.
Get your fasting blood sugar levels, complete blood counts, culture of discharge, E.S.R, C.R.P done and send me the report.
Till then you can take broad spectrum antibiotics or same medication which you are already taking, but by discussing it with your family doctor.
Avoid contact with water or dust to the affected foot.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
Dr.Singh.
