Question: I am 26 weeks pregnant and I had failed the 1 HR glucose screening with a score of 170. I recently took the 3 hr glucose tolerance test the other day and my results were as follows. I need help determining if I have gestational diabetes. although I looked up the normal ranges online and I seem to have fallen beneath the cut off. I just need some clarification on this please. It was also after drinking the 100mg of glucola. also, all 4 of the urine samples taken per hour were negative for glucose. Thank you so much for your assistance!

0 hr (fasting glucose) : 74
1 hr : 153
2 hr: 141
3hr: 63

Brief Answer:
No Gestational Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,

Your 1 hour screening glucose test is rather high which should have been under 140. However, it is a screening test which suggests the need for full Glucose Tolerance Test; which you have already undergone.

Your all the readings of Blood Glucose are within normal limits. Moreover, your urine sample on all the occasions was without detectable sugar in it.

In short you do not have gestational diabetes.

For any more information and/or advice, I am always available for you, XXXXX.
