Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Liver And Gastric Issues

Question: Respected Dr Sahab
I am suffering from gastric problem consult doctor advise USG In USG my liver are inlarge both loobs are 16.78 cm. doctor advise for Ursocade 300mg two times and Rabesym rd in empty stomach I hade raken this tablet two times in 3 monthes but taken this tablet suffered from constipation . After 3 monthes again USG my liver are also inlarged just slightely less. present time liver size are 16.68cm.Doctor advise for Udibon taken one times. Therefore I request you kindley suggest me what I can do.

I have read your query and understand your concern.
There is a long list of causes which can enlarge your liver.
Unless and until the exact cause is identified,a proper treatment can not be offered.
Before advising you,I would like to want certain informations from you.
Do you consume alcohol and if yes how much?
Do you suffer from diabetes or hypertension?
Are you overweight?
Do you have high cholesterol levels?
Have other tests been done besides ultrasound abdomen?
Have you ever suffered from fever,vomiting,vomiting of blood,jaundice etc ?
Any symptom you are suffering from other than constipation?
Did you consult a physician or a gastroenterologist?
Do you do regular exercises?
Please upload the ultrasound report so that I can have a look at it.

Thanks for your mail.I have to informed you I have not taken any alcohol and not suffred from sugar and hypertension , cholestrol level is also normal and any no symptoms vomiting , fever, I have consult physician doctor adivised Ubidone tablet Livtone syrup, Pantopa D and Acylock only syrup. Somedays taken Stop Os and XXXXXXX for cailcium. I have do regular excersise continueously.

Read your reply but couldn't find the ultrasound report as asked by me.
In any case,let us proceed further.
The fact is there is a long list of causes for enlargement of liver like....
Alcohol consumption
Fatty liver
Viral hepatitis
Glycogen storage disease
Congestive heart failure
Cirrhosis
Liver cancer etc....
Unless and until,the cause for your liver enlargement is identified,a proper treatment is not possible. The treatment you are taking is not a specific treatment but a generalised one and is not expected to treat you. You yourself has seen that in spite of taking the treatment for 3 months,your condition is same.
I would advise you to consult a gastroenterologist and get properly examined and investigated so that the exact cause is found and then managed accordingly.
Till you consult a gastroenterologist,you may continue the treatment.

Hello,
I have seen your both the ultrasound reports sent by you.
It doesn't reveal anything else except that liver is enlarged.
I would advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for finding the cause of this enlargement.
