Question: I have enlarge tonsils with white spots. I also have sinus congestion. I started IC Azithromycin 500mg yesterday ( 1 per day) and feel a little better today.

Hi,

You seem to be carrying infection in the tonsillar crypts. There seems to be pus formed and that is evident with white spots. Azithromycin is good to start and continue for 5 days as per your doctor suggestion.

Also it is good to continue salt water gargles at least thrice a day with warm water. You will feel much better each time you gargle.
