Question: since hemorrhoidectamy i have erectile dysfunction am on fentanyl patch wondering what would cause this as i have never had problem before

i have seen doctor due for follow up in aa week

The fentanyl patch can certainly contribute to symptoms of erectile dysfunction. This is a very strong narcotic medication and among the many side effects would include decrease in performance.

I would encourage you to discuss this with your doctor and your doctor might consider an alternative pain medication for you.

im concerned that the hemorrhoidectamy caused this the doctor said it shouldn't as he did nothing with anything that is associated with penis just scared

i asked a question over 45 min ago my dr says a hemorrhoidectamy shouldn't have anything to do with ed as he did nothing to affect my penis is he correct
