Another controlled substance in addition to methamphetamine is not a good idea. On the other hand, severe muscle pain (especially if the urine has turned orange or red) can indicate muscle death from meth use. Uncommon but does happen. The muscles hurt a lot with that. Aspirin like drugs are a bit tricky in this context. On the one hand they are probably the best pain reliever for severe inflammation BUT the only really bad effect from the muscle death (the heart is a muscle and it often is affected in the same way BUT the damage is when the methamphetamine is taken and not a day after; if not dead from heart failure by 3 days AFTER using methamphetmine, then the heart damage probably wasn't that bad).
BUT muscle breakdown WILL cause muscle proteins to go to the kidney and clog it up and damage it. This can be worse if aspirin like drugs including naproxen are taken at the same time. Bottom line, muscle aches after methamphetamine use means severe damage has occurred and this needs some simple outpatient tests to screen for severe problems.
The addiction and withdrawal will be quite hard after enough methamphetamine to cause muscle aches.
