Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction And Low Sperm Count
Question: Hi, I am suffering from erectile dysfunction and low sperm count. How can I reverse this problem? I do not drink, and I exercise regularly, and my cholesterol and blood pressure is excellent. I only masturbate, or have sex 2 times a week. What foods can I eat to boost my protein level, can I use whey protein isolate, or anything else?
Brief Answer:
Requires to be investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
You should be examined by a urologist to know if there is a correctable problem like varicocoel, the correction of which may improve the sperm count.
ED may be psychogenic or due to problems like diabetes and requires to be investigated.
It is better to have natural wholesome food like diary products, egg, fish, chicken and lean meat.
Protein isolate may be taken to supplement natural sources of protein.
Best wishes,
Dr Noble Zachariah

Will to much masturbation cause erectile dysfunction or low sperm count? Should I hold off on sex and masturbation for 3 months just to see if that is the problem. I might be putting to much strain on my inquinal areas, don't those blood vessels lead to the areas where sperm is produced?
Brief Answer:
No convincing evidence
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
There is no unequivocal evidence that masturbation produces erectile dysfunction or decrease in sperm count. Diabetes affects blood vessels and decreases blood supply which can cause these problems.
There is no need to abstain from sexual activities.
Have a good day and good health
