Question: I have a question about urology . My penis when erect doesn't get fully erect. The blood seems to pool just below my glans and is soft and spongy like it is blocked, it is not painful. I did have a blood vessel break during sex myers ago . Could this be scare tissue from that injury and what can I do

Brief Answer:
You need to get investigated .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are facing problem of Erectile Dysfunction since very recently.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.

1) Are you Diabetic?

It is unlikely that your problem of ED is related to injury that you sustaine during intercourse many years ago .

It is mostly due to age related factors
1)Atherosclerotic changes in arteries that supply blood to erectile tissue in penis .
2) Low level of Testosterone in blood

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Serum Testosterone levels in blood
2) Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis to rule out any vasculogenic cause like arterial insufficiency or venous leak as a cause of your ED.
Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Blood Sugar levels

Taking a drug Sidenafil (Viagra)or Cialis as on demand will help you to achieve hard erection .

Get the prescription and guidance regarding dose schedule from your family Physician .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.

I do hav low testosterone and I am taking a cream on my shoulders each day . My last test showed a level of 450

I had my blood sugar checked with last physical and all was well

This started about a month ago. The blood seems to be bloecjed right under my Glans head . It forms a soft spongy area . Its like something is blocked to get the blood all the way to my head . I am taking vitamin e as well now
