Suggest Treatment For Erection Problem

Posted on Sat, 13 Sep 2014
Question: During the last 15 years I am suffering from erection problem. About 10 years back I was examined at Apollo Hospital XXXXXXX and all report were fine. Thereafter doctor suggested me use injection in penis. If I recalled collectly it was papavarine. I used this for some time but it was very painful. Viagra was not available then in XXXXXXX However later on when different version of Viagra made available in XXXXXXX I started using it (50mg). I feel a headache next morning whenever I take this pill. I use this pill around 10-12 times every month. Now my wife is bit apprehensive with the use of this pil. And my question to you is what is the long term impact on my health if I take say around 10-15 pils a month for this problem. Is there any alternative treatment available now? I also read with the vacuerrect. Is it workable? By the way my libido is still alright and there is no change with my age.
Thanks in advance for your support because this is affecting my personal and professional life.

Brief Answer:
Viagra

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

From a study done on more than 900 patients over 4 years they have found that Viagra taken at 100 mg regularly did not lead to adverse effects except for common cold like symptoms, headaches and blurring of vision which improved after stopping of the drug.
You can go ahead and take the pills but make sure that you get liver function test, cardiac evaluation and renal evaluation regularly

Vacuerrect works and it has proved to be useful in many of my patients.

I wish you good health

Many many thanks for the quick reply. However, at time the Headache is quite severe the next day. Is there any way I can avoid it?.

I fully understand that my problem is because of 'Performance Anxiety' because otherwise I can feel the erection is alright if I use my hand. Is there anything I can do to remove this performance anxiety challenge?

Headaches are known with Viagra. You could control with by taking tab paracetamol as a prophylaxis or by reducing the dose of the drug

Performance anxiety is best treated with Viagra, so continue to take it
