Brief Answer:
stay hydrated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am sorry that you are having this difficulty but I will give you several things to try and see if you can relieve the problem.
First make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Drink 2-3 liters a day at minimum. Avoid caffeine and alcohol because they are dehydrating.
Add a non-sedating antihistamine like loratadine to see if any of this is caused by allergies. Use nasal saline 4-5 times a day to help thin secretions.
If none of this is helpful you may need to see and ENT doctor to get a thorough evaluation

Brief Answer:
yes, possibly

Detailed Answer:
It can take your body a while to recover after taking antibiotics and steroids so yes it is possible that part of the increased mucus is just your body adjusting to being off those medications.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
Dr. Robinson
