Brief Answer:
Ear Barotrauma.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. This is ear barotrauma after a flight, when you have a cold or the Eustachian Tube is blocked.

2. OTC nasal decongestant drops ( 0.1 % Xylometazoline ) and a painkiller should help for immediate relief.

3. After this an ENT examination, impedance audiometry, treatment for the cold and sometimes a Myringotomy may be required.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
