Question : I have short eye pain when I run my finger over my right eye brow. Very sensitive to the touch

Pain over right eye brow can be because of local inflammation or sinus related inflammation.
The eye pain can be referred pain.

Do you have redness, watering, discharge from the eyes?
Do you have any swelling,redness over eye brow?
Do you have any symptoms of sinusitis like blocked nose, on and off cold, cough....?

As of now you can take pain killer/ analgesic tablet for pain relief.

There are no additional eye symptoms, no redness or swelling. I have been sneezing but that could be allergies and I did cough a couple of times in the middle of the night but not on a regular basis and not a lot. Don't have a cold.

Should I take Advil? And for how long?

I am a female if that makes a difference. How long does it take for a response?

Since the symptoms related to eye are absent this is related to sinus related problems.
You can take advil once or two times a day for 2-3 days.
If the symptoms resolve you can stop it and if the symptoms persist need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.

The pain should subside by 1-2 days. Being female will not affect or make difference.
