Brief Answer:
yes remeron can affect sleep, it causes somnolence

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Lethargy means a pathological state of sleepiness or deep unresponsiveness and inactivity and somnolence means excessive sleepiness due to sleep deprivation, fatigue or medicine.

You are probabaly taking remeron-mirtazapine ( ramadon is spelling mistake- if I am not correct, please clarify). This drug rather helps in sleep. Somnolence is the commonest side effect.

Let me know following information:

- Dose of remeron you are taking.

- For which indication it has been prescribed.

- Do you have any physical illness and are you taking any other medicine?

- Are you feeling day time sleepiness?

I will be happy to help further after your response.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
