Question : Hi There,
i currently have fatty liver & am very fit & healthy. i do exercise on a daily basis & i am not over weight at all. Fatty liver was found in a ultrasound. I did consume too much alcohol & have now completely stopped my alcohol intake . Do you know generally how long fatty liver takes to reverse if it is caused by alcohol ?

I appreciate your insight.
Your alcohol consumption was probably the cause of your fatty liver.
How are your liver enzymes especially GGT.
Liver is a wonderful organ in that it repairs itself, if you stop hurting it.
The time for reversal of changes is variable and depends on several factors.
