Question : i cough when I take deep breath, no fever its a hacking dry cough, got chest xray, came back normal

Cough while taking deep breath means that your pleura is affected and inflammed. Pleura is a thin lining of the lung and its prone for viral infections. In pleuritis the x ray is often normal
Here is what you should do

1. Get a complete blood count to rule out an infection
2. Tab Atarax is the ideal anti inflammatory for this condition. It can be taken twice daily. It causes mild drowsiness in some patients, in such situations the morning dose can be skipped
3. Continue to take antibiotics
4. Watch out for fever and breathlessness
5. Avoid cold beverages, oily food and smoking

what is Tab Atarax, I need prescription for that

Tab Atarax is Hydroxyzine, it is an anti histamininc agent often given to reduce inflammation. If Hydroxyzine is not over the counter drug in your area then please approach your GP for a prescription

Feeling of heaviness of the chest and warmth is because of the inflammation. It usually subsides within a week's time
