Suggest Treatment For Fever And Swollen Gums
Taking pain killers(analgesics) or application of topical anesthetics helps
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I hope that you are talking about herpangina (assuming a spelling mistake). It is a painful condition caused due to a viral infection characterized by fever or feverishness, mouth sores and ulcers often with painful swallowing.
Treatment is supportive and consists of intake of plenty of fluids as well as pain killers like Aleve (naproxen) or simply paracetamol/acetaminophen when required to relieve the pain. Use topical anesthetics for the mouth may also provide relief.
Apart from this nothing needs to be done and antivirals are not helpful. Please be patient. Going to a doctor will not help and so you need not take her to a doctor. The condition should subside in 7 days.
However if the diagnosis is not confirmed then the baby be taken to doctor.
