Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely viral fever (common cold) most likely.
Do you have mucous discharge from nose and nasal congestion?
Is the discharge from nose yellow?
Do you have yellowish sputum?
Do you have breathlessness?
Viral fevers are self limiting and you need to take only symptomatic treatment, take more fluids and rest. You can take paracetamol 500 to 650 for fever. Take chewable vitamin C. You can take Anti histamines like cetirizine also. Take warm fluids like tea with lemon , warm chicken soup with pepper etc. You can also take steam inhalation with inhalation capsules like karvol plus. Take proper rest also. Usually the intensity of illness will decrease after 3 days.
If there is increase in fever or sputum or nasal discharge is yellowish then it is a sign of secondary bacterial infection and in that case you need to take antibiotics.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
 Antibiotics also will be needed.

Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
In that case you need antibiotics also. I usually suggest broad spectrum antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav or Azithromycin in such case. You can ask your GP for prescription of antibiotics.
Bronchodilators like salbutamol or levosalbutamol as syrup or as inhalation will be helpful for breathlessness.
You can take strong coffee to relieve breathlessness as a home treatment.
