Brief Answer:
you can wait no need to panic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually cold and cough is viral infection and may take up to a week to clear. The fever you mentioned seems to be mild grade fever.
Don't worry. As your doctor said continue the same medicines.
If your child is active and playful no need to worry.
Ensure that he drinks enough liquids to keep hydrated.
If he becomes dull or fever becomes high consult your doctor for other tests including dengue and widal for typhoid.
Wishing speedy recovery.

Thanks for your reply.
1.As you told my son is playful and active ( when no fever) ,reduced Appetite
2.When parcetomol given fever goes down , He is fine for 5hrs
3.We are also giving Advent Forte (5ml twice)
4.This time no running nose, no cold [ only very mild cough]
5.He has chills when he has fever.
6.Doctor told he has wheezing , asked us to try Nebulization
[ Doulin ] 3 times since yesterday
Q1.Do you think any chances of Pneumonia ? [coughs once a hour]
Shall we try a x-ray?
Q2.Typhoid will it be cured by Antibiotics like Advent Forte?
Advent forte works for all other bacterial fevers?
Q3.what are other symptom's of Dengue [He has no rashes ] ?
Q4.Do he has any symptoms of Bird flu/Swine flu [No cold etc]
Thanks for your help once again
regards

Brief Answer:
go with your doctors advice
Detailed Answer:
1. Could be pneumonia, you can try xray.
2. Typhoid needs cefixime or ofloxacin. Advent is for respiratory infections.
3. Persistent fever can be the only symptom of dengue. Rash vomiting abdominal pain may or may not be there.
4. Unlikely flu with no cold.
