Question: Hi. My son is 3yrs old and had fever of 101 at 10pm. We gave him Crocin. But it continued to rise and so we were sponging him. At 12am fever reached 103 and we gave him Meftal P and still continued the sponging but fever did not drop. It is now 1:45 am and the fever is still at 102.8. Should we give Crocin now?

Brief Answer:
You may give him another dose of Crocin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for your son's raised body temperature.

Given in the dose of 7.5 ml up to 4 times, Crocin (Paracetamol) is usually the safest drug to reduce the raised body temperature in young children.

Since the last dose of Crocin was given at 10 PM, you may give him another dose at 1:45 AM.

However, if fever does not subside even after taking paracetamol, then Meftal-P (Mefenemic acid) can also be given to the young children along with Crocin syrup.
Meanwhile continue to tepid sponging, given him plenty of oral fluids, and get him examined by a doctor to rule out infection and a course of appropriate antibiotic may be required to control the infection.

Hope the explanation given above could answer your query.
Wishing your son a quick and smooth recovery.

Best regards.
