Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.
Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if you are suffering from an acute attack of upper airway infection which may be allergic or due to infection. However finally verdict can be given on careful throat and chest examination. The fever spikes can be because of that and so are other symptoms that you have encountered. It can be infective as you mentioned whole family got affected simultaneously.
To start with continue using anti pyretics like acetaminophen alongwith anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine and avoid greasy and oily food as well as direct exposure to cold. Using hot beverages may also be helpful with symptoms. Since fever spikes are quite significant you may need antibiotics course like azithromycin or augmentin.
Antibiotic that you have mentioned is most probably ciprofloxacin as such trade name isn't in my knowledge. You can use antibiotics from other group avoiding what you have been allergic too.
You can discuss with your primary doctor regarding the suitable choice however I would suggest that with such history of drug allergies it's better to take a small test dose and waiting for few hours to see any unpleasant symptoms and if none appears then it can be continued in actual dosing.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

I know it is just a common flu but I am terrified while I consider the fact of taking any medicine. Thank you againg

Thanks for the feedback. And don't apologise for asking as these were all very genuine concerns and questions but it's good that your symptoms are improving however since fever spikes are so frequent, antibiotics seems unavoidable. Regards.
