Suggest Treatment For Fish Bone Stuck In Throat
I would treat you with acid reflux medicine for 3 weeks...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As my colleague who answered you earlier the easiest test to know whether or not the fish bone is lodged in your throat is by X-ray. Bones which are radioopaque are easily picked on X-ray. However I doubt it's lodged there because if it is indeed there endoscopy would have definitely picked up evidences / physical signs of its presence.
In this context I would start you on acid lowering drugs which will be effective in treating acid reflux. Acid reflux is known to cause throat irritation and pain similar to yours. Esomeprazole 40mg tablets once a day for 3 weeks is what I suggest to my patients. Besides acid lowering drug, I feel you will also benefit with use of a low dose antianxiety pills for few weeks. You can ask your treating doctor about these drugs.
Besides medication, it would also be worthwhile if you can get your hemoglobin, vitamin b12 and thyroid hormone tested if it wasn't done recently.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Le me clarify my points again..
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I think I wasn't very clear in my previous answer. I'll try again and clarify this issue.
There are a few conditions which can cause unilateral throat irritation / pain as seen in you. It includes unilateral tonsillitis both acute and chronic, unilateral sinusitis with post nasal drip on one side and eagle syndrome (where the styloid process is large and pressing against back of throat). Yes, a lodged foreign body could present with similar irritation, however in the absence of test result proving presence of foreign body we can essentially rule out foreign body in the throat. Like I said earlier, X-ray of the neck is a very useful and simple test if we still suspect presence of foreign body.
Besides these organic medical cause, occasionally we do see unexplained throat pain especially in anxious patients. These are somatic pains which resolve with treatment of anxiety. Lastly acid reflux irritation of tonsil / pharynx especially if you are used to sleeping in right lateral position might also lateralise this pain to the right.
That being said, since I don't have a XXXXXXX to physically examine you in person I am unable to give a definite name as a cause here. I do not label the cause of your throat pain as "acid reflux". Yet, I would suggest use of acid lowering drug for 3 weeks along antianxiety measures and hope it resolves. If they don't re-evaluating with a battery of test to explore further is warranted.
I hope this line of approach is acceptable to you.
Regards
PS: It is unlikely the foreign body which is causing you discomfort based on the fact of normal endoscopy result. Other possibilities can be discussed / evaluated if you don't show signs of improvement.
Surgical complication....
Detailed Answer:
With regards to long term foreign body, expected complication may include chronic inflammation and surgical complications such as trauma / tears and perforation. Endoscopy has ruled out presence of signs of inflammation and trauma. And hence your doctor's comments that there may not be a foreign body.
Try the aforementioned options and see if it helps.
Apologies for the late reply. But I hope it helps.
