Suggest Treatment For Flu, Dizziness, Nausea, Running Nose, Cough And Constant Tiredness
fluids/electrolytes, med for nausea, topical decongestant
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Dizziness in the flu is related to direct effect of the illness itself and also related to decreased hydration and electrolytes.
Decreased hydration can occur as a result of decreased fluid intake because of a reduced appetite and nausea , fluid loss from the skin from any fever, fluid loss as a result of coughing and nasal symptoms.
In addition to the over the counter cough and cold medications which essentially contain the same basic ingredients for nasal congestion and cough suppression, you should consider fluid and electrolyte replacement , and rest.
The use of a drink such as gatorade which would replace fluids and electrolytes would be best.
A topical decongestant along with the oral cough and cold medication would help with the nasal symptoms. Eg oxymetazoline or xylometazoline
Meds such as peptobismol or dramamine would help with the nausea.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
