Brief Answer:
Please, what is her current blood glucose levels!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about what your wife is going through. I will suggest that you first get a blood glucose measurement and we would decide on whether to administer the insulin as recommended or not. We have to be careful to make sure we do not get her into low values as not eating may predispose her to this.
My advice is to measure blood sugars first and we would determine whether it would be safe to administer and monitor closely.
I hope this helps. I wish you and your wife well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Blood glucose today 9 am 10, noon 10, 5pm 11, no food no insulin today
Brief Answer:
This is high and needs her insulin!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the follow up.
I would say the units of measurement are mmil/L. This is high and would require the insulin. I will suggest that you go ahead and administer her insulin. Then monitor the blood sutras closely.
If in doubt, please ask for clarifications. I wish you well.
