Question: I had pka of right knee with 2 bakers cyst removed . The antirior bursa has been full and swollen since. The swelling down but over the weekend behind my knee has begun to hurt. Could the fluid moved to thr back of the knee?
Brief Answer:
It can be due to synovitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that it can be due to synovitis. In this there is collection of fluid in the joint. I would recommend you following.
1.Ice fomentation
2.Tablet Etoricoxib one daily.
3.Avoid knee movements for three days.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. If your pain is increasing even after that then you need to contact your doctor. He might get some blood investigations for you like ESR,CRP and WBC to rule out infection.
Thanks
