What Could Bilateral PE, Depression And Forgetfulness After Replacing Warfarin With Etoricoxib Indicate?
i was diagnosed with unexplainable bi lateral pe s, since I was put on warfarin and taken off etoricoxib I have started having lots of pain in my feet and most of my joints throb but my main concern is that I have become very distracted and forgetful, and im so tired and depressed, what do you think
Rarely it can be due to warfarin however small vessels micro-infarcts in the brain may cause such symptoms as pro thrombotic state in your case with unexplained PE can occur in coexistence with ischemic brain injuries too. It's better to get a MRI brain for detailed assessment. LDH levels and CPK may be done and if raised, a vascular surgeon review for detailed assessment and switching warfarin to Rivaroxiban may be needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
