my dr. said to soak in warm water. i get pins and needle feeling. they assure i am fine, but i feel something is severely wrong
it is due to nerve compression. CONSULT ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON
Detailed Answer:
welcome
i understood your query
Pain and tingling is caused by the bones in the hands, wrists and lower arms are compressing the nerves. It usually starts as numbness and tingling and may progress to pain and difficulty using one or both hands.
nerve injuries occur when individual nerves are pinched or subjected to chronic, unintended pressure. This can occur when tendons thicken or swell from overuse.
Actual diagnosis of nerve injury can be made by nerve conduction testing .
This is a simple, painless, non-invasive test done to check nerve impulses in the lower arm and hand.
An Orthopedic Hand Surgeon can perform this test and can help you to verify this diagnosis. If the tests are positive , there is a procedure that can be done to release the pressure against the nerves.
you can use ibuprofen for severe pain.
hope you are satisfied.
