Question: I broke the radial bone in my wrist about 5 weeks ago. I'm in a loose, cloth like cast now until wednesday. The pain is significant in my knuckles - should I be concerned about this?

Brief Answer:
Please send the x-ray picture if possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is a known complication of fracture especially if it is not followed by finger exercises from day one.
To help you better please send the picture of X-ray and plastered (injured )limb.
Meanwhile you may have pain killer patch like Buvalor/actipatch in place of motrin along with trypsin/chymotrypsin to reduce swelling. You may get them prescribed from your local doctor/GP.
Hope this helps and I shall be glad to answer further query.
Take care
