Freckles - various suggestions and guidance

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the Freckles over your face. As a young person there are cosmetic concerns especially because of any spots on face.

Freckles are basically a kind of pigmentation problem. To tell you simply these are formed due to over activity of a special color producing cell known as melanocyte.

Whenever these melanocytes work in excess then these produces the pigment melanin which gets deposited in the superficial layers of skin.

The over activity could be due to over exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet rays due laptops or computers or even artificial sources such as even tubelight or bulbs. There is also genetical tendency for the over activity.

These generally have a tendency to become lighter or darker as per the activity of the melanocytes.

In general skin lightening creams which you have applied are sufficient to make the areas lighter. But in cases where these are more darker then one requires either radio frequency ablation or laser treatment.

In my patients with your kind of problem with treatment resistant cases I prefer to remove the freckles with above procedures.

Along with above I suggest you to use a sunscreen on daily basis for two to three times. Eat a lot of ed fruits which acts as natural sunscreen and antioxidant property.

I hope this information will help you.
