I read your question and i understand your concern. All other symptoms are benign and easily manageable except the black tarry stools as that could be blood in upper GI tract. However many foods like foods rich in iron etc can lead to black stools.
Get a stool examined for any occult blood. Once ruled out, all other symptoms can be treated on IBS protocol with diet and lifestyle modifications and supportive measures. More fiber and fluids, Less stimulants, spices, alcohol, soda, sweets, processed and canned foods etc.
