Brief Answer:
Additional tests required

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
In most cases this is caused by benign constipation due to diet or slow peristalsis, however considerring your age it would be good to do colonoscopy to rule out some more serious issues especially if blood in stool was present.

in every case you should try with changing lifestyle and dietary habits. You need to increase fiber intake. Good fiber sources include XXXXXXX and other whole grains found in cereals, breads, and brown rice, vegetables such as brussels sprouts, carrots, and asparagus, Fresh fruits, or dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, and prunes Beans.

Also, you should exercise regularly. Moving your body will keep your bowels moving, too. Second, you may at times need to try a laxative such as Fleet Phospho-Soda, Milk of Magnesia, or glycerine supossitories to relieve symptoms.
llThank you for your query. Wish you good health.
