Suggest Treatment For Gas In Colon And Constipation

Question : I have moderate to severe middle back pain on my right side. The pain is accompanied with pain on the right upper quadrant of my abdomen. Every diagnostic test I've had (CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-Ray) have shown that I have gas in that area. My blood test results don't show any kidney, pancreatic, or liver abnormalities. I failed to mention that I don't have the urge to have a bowel movement unless I take Dulcolax or Miralax, and I also have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Why is there always gas in my colon and can it be something else?

Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

You are saying that have gas on colon and suffer of chronic constipation as long as you need to take laxatives to pass the motion.

If all the tests resulted normal, then, no organic issues.

To my opinion, your symptoms are related to cgchronic constipation. Hashimoto's thyroiditis is also a factor to your constipation.

When constipated, the bowel is distended and lots of gas is present.

fighting constipation can also alleviate your symptoms.
