Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Please consult a cardiologist to rule out other reasons for your breathlessness and shortness of breath.
For the gastritis, try taking medications.
Proton pump inhibitors ( Rabeprazole or Panteprazole ) may help.
Have small, frequent meals.
Eat every 2 - 3 hours, and avoid eating for atleast 2- 3 hours before going to bed.
Take a small glass of chilled milk before going to bed.
Relax, avoid going out in the sun or hot weather.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Thanks, the choking happens as soon as I eat anything. Eating had become he difficult. Then it leads to hours of discomfort in deep breathing. Having rabeprazol but not much relief. Feeling of something such in throat, and sometimes heart burn. Mouth is dry. Not getting relief at all.

Detailed Answer:
Please get an endoscopy done.
IT will evaluate the back of your throat, esophagus etc, to know why the choking and feeling of something stuck in your throat is happening.
Please consult a gastrointestinal Specialist for that.
Let me know what he /she says.
Take care.
