Molluscum is an STD. It is not dangerous
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Molluscum is not a reaction to shaving.
Molluscum is different from genital herpes. It is caused by a different virus i.e molluscum contagiosum virus.
Nevertheless, just like genital herpes, genital molluscum is also an STD i.e the infection is acquired by sexual contact with an infected partner.
Incubation period of molluscum may vary from days to weeks, therefore clinical lesions may appear days or weeks after the infection is sexually acquired.
Molluscum contagiosum is not a dangerous infection. It is limited to skin, is asymptomatic and curable.
You may spread the infection to your sexual partner therefore ideally you would want to get them removed.
The infection may also spread locally by autoinnoculation through shaving.
Treatment is simple and effective.
Kindly visit a dermatologist for the needful.

No OTC treatment available; Visit a doctor when back home
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
There is no otc treatment which you can take from a pharmacy on your own. You must visit a doctor. However, there is no urgency of treatment right now, therefore you can visit a doctor at your own convenience when you are back home. Once you visit a dermatologist, treatment with either Co 2 Laser or Radiofrequency cautery would get rid of molluscum lesions then and there itself.
