Hi.
Welcome to HEALTH CARE MAGIC..

As per your complain Geographic tongue is a condition in which there is loss of tongue papillae and it gives smooth appearance to the tongue..

The smooth areas keep changing places..
It is most commonly genetic in origin..

On the other hand ulcers can be due to causes like Nutritional Deficiencies causing Canker Sores, Viral infection causing Herpes etc..

Please answer the following questions so that I can guide you better..

1.Is the Geographic tongue and ulcers stated at the same time?
2.Since how long are both conditions present?
3.Do you have any medical problems?
4.Do you have any known allergies?
5.Are you on any Medication?
6.Do you have dryness in mouth and is the tongue sore and painful?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your answers Geographic tongue is a harmless condition and will not cause any fatal problem..
It does not have any specific treatment and you can take supportive treatment for relief..
You can start gargling with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine for relief from soreness and pain..
You can also do warm saline gargles..
Suck ice pops..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..

Any further queries are welcome..
