Question: I am experiencing spinning of head in particular positions since last 15 days.I get a swaying/spinning feeling just after resting my head on pillow or looking up.The feeling lasts for about 10 seconds.I am not any medication other than Shelcal daily, weekly vit D granules and daily becasule this is due to defiencies noticed in Vit D and B12 in Sept.
I do get migraine headaches at least three to four times a month.
What should be my course of action for the spinning feeling.

Brief Answer:
May be positional vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Have you ever checked your blood pressure? If yes, what was the last record?
Spinning with changing positions suggest mostly benign positional vertigo where changing position of body causes changes in blood pressure and cause spinning.
I suggest you do not get up from bed suddenly.
I also suggest check your blood pressure. If your blood pressure normal and your symptoms persist then I suggest you Bethistamines like vertin 8mg twice a day. This is a prescribed medication.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Start betahistamines.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your information.
Sudden change of body position can disturb fluids in ear and leads to spinning.
I suggest you start Vertin 8mg after discussing with your doctor.
If problem persist or if you will not feel better after one week of medication then you need to visit an ENT doctor.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
