Brief Answer:
Provide more details and imaging
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Grade 2 listhesis may be an unstable spine with possibility of progression and neurological deficit.
What are the present symptoms like pain, weakness of lower limbs, sensation loss, urinary complains?
You can upload images too for analysis.
Any history of trauma?
You should visit a neurosurgeon for examination and then decision regarding operation.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back to me for further queries.

No trauma and stable. The sciatic nerve bothers me. No pain in lumbar but in the trunk hip down to foot. My doctor thinks the spondylilothisis was an incidental finding and that current pain is related to something else. I am being referred to a specialist. Should nonsurgical measures be used first? If so for how long.
Brief Answer:
First take medications and physiotherapy
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If no neurodeficit present, then for pain a trail of physiotherapy and medications may be used.
You can take pregabalin, gabapentin or amitriptyline.
Pain killers like aceclofenac or etoricoxib with thiocholchicoside or tizanidine zoom can be used.
Visit a neurosurgeon for examination and further management.
Upload any images if available.
