Suggest Treatment For Growing Bruise And Hard Lump In Inner Thigh

Question: About two months ago I noticed bruising in my inner thigh with no injury. After feeling around the bruised area I noticed a hard limp under the skin. It was uncomfortable to touch but not painful. This evening I noticed the bruising has become darker, bigger and the hard lump is now bigger and very painful to touch.

Should I be concerned or may it just be a simple cyst? I am also experiencing dizzy spells and weakness but I am not sure if there is any correlation between the two issues.

Hi,
Thanks for your query.

From description , this hard lump most probably formed due to haematoma formation (collection of blood) which might get fibrosed or calcified.
It will take few weeks to months to get disappear.
But as you noticed that this hard lump get increase in size and also it became painful, I advice you to get it checked out by your doctor to rule out any infection.
Meanwhile you can take Tablet Motrin 1 tablet with food as and when required (upto 4 tablets daily).Dizzy spells and weakness not seems to be related to this.
