You have mentioned 2 issues i.e dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis and hair fall.

1. For dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis ,I suggest you to try a 2% ketoconazole based shampoo e.g Nizral shampoo either daily Or every alternate day. Lather it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 5- 10 minutes before rinsing it off.

2. It seems from your description that your hair fall is due to Androgenetic Alopecia, as exemplified by receding anterior hair line and thinning/ balding at vertex.

Androgenetic alopecia is most common cause of hair fall and reduced hair density in males.
Androgenetic alopecia may start any time after puberty and is gradually progressive with age and is characterised by thinning and hair fall mainly from center of scalp i.e front, mid and vertex of scalp.
Androgenetic alopecia is associated with gradually receding anterior hair line, widening and deepening at angles of anterior hair line.
There is a definite genetic component in this type of hair loss and history of hair loss and early balding not only in family members but also in cousins and other relatives either on maternal Or paternal sides is also significant in androgenetic alopecia.

Minoxidil solution and Finasteride are US FDA approved treatments for androgenetic alopecia in males. Minoxidil should be applied twice daily at scalp skin, 1 ml, twice daily, starting from the center of scalp and gradually moving outwards. It should be applied after shampoo and after air drying your scalp.

Goal of medical treatment is to arrest Or slow down further progression of hair loss and therefore earlier the medical therapy is initiated better the long term prognosis. Diet has no specific role in this type of hair loss neither is it related to water Or pollution.

Diagnosis of androgenetic alopecia is clinical and I suggest that you visit a doctor in your vicinity for a clinical confirmatory diagnosis and for the needful.

Genetic influence may have variable effects. In some it may be subtle and in others more pronounced.

Finasteride is specific for androgenetic alopecia. Biotin is not.
Nevertheless, biotin does have a supportive role in hair regrowth. Dermatologists love to prescribe it in all types hair fall and it is popularly known as a hair vitamin, however it is not specific for androgenetic alopecia. Biotin also favors healthy nail growth. Therefore you may start with a Biotin supplement, once daily. Take it for 4-6 months.

Vitamin B12 deficiency is not a common cause of hair fall. Moreover, Vit B 12 deficiency is rare in healthy young individuals.
Vitamin B 12 is present in milk and dairy products and therefore not a common deficiency. Vit B 12 is more common in pure vegetarians (i.e one which excludes all animal diet including milk and dairy products)

After having a look at images I must say that the situation does'nt look as bad as it seemed initially, however, there is no doubt that this is androgenetic alopecia; thinning at vertex and receding anterior hair line at temporal angles.

If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use 5% Minoxidil solution, twice daily and oral Finasteride tablets. These are approved remedies for androgenetic alopecia.

Goal of medical treatment is to preserve/ arrest/ slow down progression of androgenetic alopecia.
Since your alopecia is still in its early stage (Stage II on Norwood scale) therefore you are expected to benefit greatly from medical treatment.

Biotin is an add-on to specific treatment of androgentic alopecia. However, on its own biotin won't be as effective as minoxidil and finasteride and biotin combined together.

Revilus tablet, H-Vit forte tablet, Trichogro tablet are various examples of Biotin supplements. These are however prescription products just like minoxidil and finasteride and therefore I suggest that you visit a dermatologist/ trichologist in your region and use the prescribed treatment under his/her supervision.
Treatment of androgenetic alopecia is long term and therefore adhering to treatment is an important part of therapy in androgenetic alopecia.
