Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump Inside Tongue
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I woke up about four days ago and notice a harder lump inside my toungue. I usually rub my toungue aganist my teeth as a nervous tick, and have a history of saliva stones. The lump is about half the size of a pinky and is more of an oval shape. I cant see anything on the exterior, except for slight swelling in the right side. This were the lump is located and toward the front. I am able to move it around with my fingers and teeth when i push it down. I have no numbness or speech disturbance. I had and oral cancer screening less then two months ago and only use tobacco occasionally.
Brief Answer:
Get an FNAC done
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I understand your concern.
Going by your symptoms ,this lump needs further evaluation to rule malignant changes.
For this I advise you to go for FNAC/needle examination of the the lump.
Except hardness many of the features described indicate a benign cause.
Further management is based on the test results.
Thank you.
