Suggest Treatment For Head Pain On The Right And Bulged Left Eye Feeling
Question: Hello Again,
I went to the Nuero Optomotrist this week. I was very disappointed and surprised that she came referred by the MS Center.
She said that there is no way that my eye came out of the socket and that the doctor that I saw is an OD and not a MD and basically said he didn't give me the right information. I didn't eel that she listened to me or my concerns. She did not view any of my MRIs and did a vey basic eye exam and said my eyes were great. She gave no real solution as to what happened but maybe my lids had an issue.
I started to discuss my head pains on the right and my last MRI results but she quickly shut that down and basically moved on to the next patient.
She felt my left eye bulged more and measured it and it was fine. She wants to see my thyroid test results which I have not requested to be sent because my primary said it was normal.
I have another appointment with my new primary to go over all the blood work that she had done. I want to get another MRI. The MS Center has not gotten back to be about the abnormal MRI and I am going to have another doctor, preferably a nuero surgeon just look at it.
I don't know what to do. it is so hard to get anyone to take you seriously. In the mean time, I keep taking my pain pills for the head pain and earaches.
What do you suggest that I do. I really just feel like giving up and whatever happens just happens. I have tried to do my due diligence and be proactive.
You have been the most helpful.
Thanks for any input that you can provide.

Brief Answer:
New MRI and follow up with your Doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXXXXX
At this point, follow up with your Doctor and new MRI results ( with before mentioned sequences ) are the next step.
I still think that there is need for an answer about exophthalmos.
Probably the new MRI and comparison with the old one will shed some light on the cause of your concerns.
You don't have to give up, I suggest a third opinion by an independent Ophthalmologist after the new MRI.
Please let me know when you will have the new MRI done and post it in order to compare with the old one.
I remain at your disposal for further follow up.
Best regards.
