Question: I have an on going headache in back of my ear. I also feel it in my neck underneath on my chin. The dr gave me sinus medication said he thinks my drainage tube from my ear to my throat is not draining properly. He could not see my ear drum. I have no mucus in my nose or ar my ears clogged. My neck is getting slightly stiff and when I o certain movement with my arms or twist my waist I feel it more.

Also when I tilt my head to the back I feel the pain in back of my head to the back of my ear like where, more or less the area of where my glasses end in back of the ear. when I put on my socks or when I pick something off the floor.

Brief Answer:
Your doctor is thinking on the right lines

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have carefully gone through your query and feel your doctor's angle of approach as well as his impressions justified. Alongside, you may try taking some vestibulocochlear statbilizer like betahistine or cinnarizine or even prochlorperazine. Talk to your doctor about these as these are prescription medicines but I think they can be of benefit.

Steam inhalation can also be helpful and you should try taking may be thrice a day.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
