Question: vehicle struck my vehicle at 12:20pm today. I had instant dizziness, followed by a headache on the left side within 5 minutes. I was nearly stopped at a traffic light - vehicle behind me probably going 25mph... no damage to vehicle - so we parted ways... then the headache...pain in lower back both sides within 10 minutes, I was in semi shock and not thinking clearly, shaking for some time. anyway, approx. 3pm I put my seatbelt back on for a return trip - the pressure instantly cause tingling on left side of my face. 6pm I took firocet (sp) for headache and one 5mg hydrocodone for left side neck pain about 6pm, ringing in my ear twice......figured there was nerve pain... it's almost 10pm....meds didn't help the headache or left side neck pain. don't know whether to take advil and wait and see how I feel in the morning... or to go to er? (hate going to the hospital)..??? wait and see or seek medical care now????

Brief Answer:
please go and see your neurologist or go to ER.

Detailed Answer:
You have history of prior stroke and cervical disc prolapse. Even a slight amount of jerks may cause increase in disc prolapse and may. Sometimes cause intra cranial bleed. Please go to hospital they will examine you and tell you what to do next.
