Your son's symptoms are suggestive of Viral Infection. Tamiflu is an anti viral medicine . Just one negative test doesn't confirms that there is no viral Infection.
But he needs to be tested for other possible causes like Typhoid , Urine Infection or other bacterial infections. My advise is to get
Complete Hemogram , IgM Typhi Dot , Urine routine and Ultrasound Abdomen Pelvis scan.
Kindly revert back with reports.
